MAUMEE, OH to MUSCLE SHEAL, AL: 720 miles + HAZMAT (590 loaded + 130 deadhead + $100)
Tuesday June 30th, I finished an assignment in Flint, MI, and was told to bring the empty trailer back to the yard instead of taking it to the shipper. I bobtailed to the shipper and arrived at 9:30pm. I hooked up to the trailer and spent the night there as I was low on hours.
Wednesday July 1st, I started my day at 8:00am and performed the pre-trip inspection of the truck. I drove half an hour to a truck stop to scale the load and have breakfast. The total weight came in at 62,820lbs not too close to the 80,000lbs maximum allowed by DOT Regulations but since it was a hazmat load then it is mandatory to weigh-in at Ohio Weight Stations so best to be careful. I drove nine hours for the day with several short stops along the way including the thirty-minute break before the eighth hour of driving. I shut down for the night at 8:30pm.
Thursday July 2nd, I started the day at 7:00am and performed the pre-trip inspection of the truck then drove just under three hours to the consignee where I arrived at 10:00am.

A suspenseful thriller focussed on the police procedures to find a nine-year old that is reported missing when she’s not home after being released early from her after-school activities.
Avery Wooler is the missing girl. She’s a difficult child that pushes her parents’ patience, loves attention and has few friends. Dr. William Wooler is her father, a respected doctor in the community. Erin Wooler is Avery’s mom. She’s a typical working mom of two kids, Avery and her twelve-year old brother. They seem to have a solid marriage. Nora Blanchard is Dr. Wooler’s lover, a married neighbor that wants to break up the affair for the sake of her family. There are many other characters with subplots that add suspense to the story.
Overall entertaining with a shocking ending.
